For groups of 5 or more, please combine reservations from both the 2-Guest and 4-Guest reservation pages. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Sumida River Fireworks Festival Traditional Shared Yakatabune Dining Cruise Enjoy one of Tokyo’s most celebrated summer traditions aboard a traditional Japanese yakatabune. The Sumida River Fireworks Festival has been loved for generations since the Edo period and remains one of Tokyo’s most well-known seasonal events. While the surrounding area becomes extremely crowded on the event day, guests aboard the yakatabune can enjoy the evening away from the congestion, seated comfortably inside the boat. Harumiya’s shared fireworks cruises are arranged with additional seating space for a more relaxed experience during the long evening onboard. Seats normally used for up to 6 guests are limited to a maximum of 4 guests during this event. Please note that reservations made under the “2-Guest Reservation” category will involve shared seating with other guests. The evening also includes a special course menu prepared exclusively for the fireworks event, including seasonal dishes, appetizers, and dessert. A premium free-flow drink selection is also available, including sparkling wine, beer, shochu, and Japanese whisky. The boat cannot wait for late arrivals due to operational and maritime regulations. Guests arriving after departure time will not be permitted to board, and refunds cannot be provided. • Please note that this is a long-duration special event cruise of approximately 8 hours. Guests cannot leave the boat during the cruise once it has departed. • Boarding pier information may vary depending on the operation schedule. Please make sure to confirm the final boarding location and meeting time in your confirmation email. • Seating for 2-guest reservations will be shared with other guests. • Cruise routes and viewing areas may change depending on weather, river conditions, tide levels, or official event operations. • Please note that fireworks visibility may vary depending on weather conditions and surrounding vessel traffic. • We are unable to accommodate any food allergies, dietary restrictions, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other special meal requests for this event. Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions are kindly asked to make their own decision regarding participation. • Outside food requiring refrigeration, heating, or special preparation is not permitted onboard. • Smoking areas onboard are limited. • Please note that this cruise is intended primarily for adult guests, and small children are generally not permitted onboard. • Due to the long duration of the event, we recommend comfortable clothing and footwear. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ■ FAQ Q. Can I leave the boat during the cruise? A. No. Once the boat has departed, guests cannot leave the boat until the cruise ends. Please note that this is an approximately 8-hour cruise. Q. Can I choose my seat? A. Seating arrangements are determined by the operator in advance and specific seat requests cannot generally be accommodated. Q. Is there a dress code? A. There is no formal dress code, though we recommend comfortable attire suitable for a long cruise. Q. Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions? A. No. We are unable to accommodate any food allergies, dietary restrictions, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other special meal requests for this event. Q. Is the boat air-conditioned? A. Yes. The indoor seating area is air-conditioned. Q. Can I bring my own drinks? A. Additional beverages may be brought onboard. However, please refrain from bringing excessive amounts or items requiring special handling. Q. What happens if the fireworks festival is canceled? A. If the festival is officially canceled by 11:00 AM on the day of the event, a refund of JPY 46200 per guest will be provided. If the festival is canceled after 11:00 AM, or if the fireworks are suspended or canceled after the cruise has started, no refund will be provided.
